Abington Building
1886
This ornamental lion’s head is superimposed on a shield motif and was originally installed on the Abington Building’s front façade, first floor pilaster. The zoomorphic head is composed of two separate pieces with open seam through center. Original finish appears to be sand texturized to simulate beige sandstone and has been stripped.
