Door Lintel with Minerva Figure

Original Location Unknown

This hollow body lintel features a compound molded top and bottom edges with a return at both sides, and a frieze panel with applied botanical motif ornaments at front center. A Classical Revival style (Minerva) female figure head is bolted to the center, above which is pediment and scroll ornament, above which is applied anthemion ornament (broken, detached). Other botanical ornaments are detached from front. Small segments are missing. Lintel has few remnants of paint. The reverse has two eyelets for mounting.
