Union Block
1879-1881
Female figurehead bolted to circular frame, four equidistant botanical motif ornaments ranged around frame. Reverse has iron plate with hole for mounting. Has sand texturized original finish covered with multiple accumulated layers of paint. Originally medallions of this design were used to decorate top floor spandrels between window arches, just below the cornice.
