This engraving shows the view south along Front Avenue from D Street (now Davis). The Bickel Block is the large building on the right. The space just past it is where the Made in Oregon sign now stands, with the Dekum & Reed Block (1875) just visible at the back center. On the left is the Allen & Lewis Block (1882)
