Vine Street was one block north of Ash Street, next to what is now Ankeny Street. The Ankeny Block and the Lewis & Flanders Block combine into a single iron-decorated brick building on the right. On the left is the similar Ankeny & Watson Building. The Starr Block with its corner tower is at the back center.
