Cast Iron Image Gallery
Although many of Portland's cast iron buildings have been damaged or demolished, many pieces of the original structures have been saved. The Architectural Heritage Center stores, maintains and displays many of these pieces, along with historic photos and drawings. The AHC also researches the buildings that remain.
